Following the spectacularly sensational growth of the South Wales MOBO music scene over the 2000's and 2010's industry professionals and artists came together to create a conference and exhibition that would cement this music scene through CONNECTING, INSPIRING and PROGRESSING well established and up and coming music artists. The first conference took part in 2021 with many online and in-person events taking place.

 

South Wales’ music scene, through the likes of Local, Aleighcia Scott, Starvz, Magugu Brighty, Lucas J Rowe and many many more, has seen literally millions upon millions of YouTube views and subscriptions, Spotify streams, hit releases, concert performances and European tours.

Such a collective of industry professionals boasts skills and experience that can inspire and equip the next generation of music enthusiasts. Indeed CMC strives not only to reach industry professionals but future artists too. The conference offers opportunity to collect merchandise, practice DJ, Rap and vocal skills, meet and greet artists and perform on stage with artists. There is even opportunity to attend seminars with industry professionals with topics including 'how to maximise your income through streaming sites', 'how to promote your online presence as an artist' and 'making it alone: how to stay positive in a daunting and competitive music industry'.
